What does a working day look like?

Take a look at the working life of one of our account managers and find out whether you can identify with the working life of a Service Points account manager.

Morning

I start my working day between 8:00 and 8:30 am, first opening my WhatsApp to check the messages from my customers. I ensure that all chats with customers are answered and then I process any problems or matters that need to be arranged for myself on a priority basis in ClickUp (Task management system of Service Points). In the meantime, I also immediately check Slack (communication system with Chinese partners) and answer the outstanding issues and forward the first questions and problems from the customers.

When all chats have been answered, I will start my daily planning in ClickUp, where I will check my planning for the day and start (further) tackling the matters with the highest priority.

At 9:30 I have a call with the team in which we discuss the plan for the day. After the start of the day, I will continue contact with both customers and Chinese partners to resolve all current and new problems. In between, I try to complete as many tasks as possible from my daily schedule. Because the Chinese partners are only active until 1:00 PM Dutch time, I ensure that as many problems as possible are resolved in the morning.

Afternoon

In the afternoon I am more focused on completing non-client related tasks from my to-do list. These are mainly tasks surrounding the milestones and any meetings that are planned. In the meantime, I still have the necessary contact with my customers to help and support them with their questions and problems. Depending on the crowds, I choose to exercise in the afternoon or else in the evening when I have a busy day planned. I can determine this myself based on the planned tasks and priorities.

Evening

For the evening I made sure that my to-do list was completed and that the planning for the next day was ready so that I could start the next day well and efficiently. I only have to respond to messages from customers in the evening. This is also fine for me while I am doing something fun such as eating out or exercising, where I always respond to customers in between and forward any tasks/problems to the Chinese partners or process them in ClickUp.

About Service Points

Service Points is a fast-growing international scale-up that helps e-commerce entrepreneurs grow by making high-quality supply chain solutions accessible.

With SP Lite, we focus on starting and growing dropshippers. Through our platform, they can connect their Shopify store and easily handle sourcing and fulfillment via Service Points.

The role

As a Sales & Activation Rep | SP Lite, you have one clear goal: to guide SP Lite users to active customers and thereby contribute to the growth of SP Lite.

New users sign up daily. Some immediately connect a store and are already receiving orders, but do not yet have them processed via SP Lite. You make personal contact via phone and WhatsApp, identify the issues people are facing, and help users take the next step.

The main focus is on users who have already connected their store and are receiving orders. You determine which leads require the most attention at that moment and ensure consistent follow-up.

In addition to personal activation, you will work with the SP Lite Operations Manager to continuously improve the entire onboarding and activation funnel: sign up → store connect → first order via SP Lite → active customer.

So you not only look at activating individual users, but also use what you learn from conversations to improve the process for future users.

Tasks and responsibilities

Sales & activation

You are busy on a daily basis guiding and activating new SP Lite users.

  • Guides leads from sign-up to active customer.
  • Actively call leads and follow up with them via WhatsApp.
  • Focus primarily on users who have already connected their store and are receiving orders.
  • Determines why someone has not yet started via SP Lite.
  • Listens carefully, asks follow-up questions, and identifies doubts or obstacles.
  • Answers questions and helps remove objections.
  • Guides users towards a clear next step.
  • Determines which leads have priority.
  • Ensures consistent and timely follow-up.

The goal is not only to make contact, but above all to understand what someone needs to actually get started with SP Lite.

HubSpot & lead management

HubSpot forms an important part of your daily work. You ensure that we always know where a lead stands and what the next step is.

  • Records important contact moments and relevant information.
  • Keep lead statuses and next steps up to date.
  • Ensures that every relevant lead has a clear next action.
  • Performs scheduled follow-ups on time.
  • Keep your own pipeline organized and up-to-date.
  • Identifies where users get stuck or drop off.

This allows us to follow up on leads in a structured way and gain better insight into where users proceed or stop within the funnel.

Onboarding & funnel optimization

A large part of the SP Lite onboarding takes place via HubSpot workflows. Together with the Operations Manager, you look at how this flow can be further improved.

  • Analyzes where users drop off during onboarding.
  • Identifies recurring questions, doubts, and obstacles.
  • Contributes ideas for improvements in email and WhatsApp communication.
  • Test new ways to activate users faster and easier.
  • Combines automation with personal follow-up.
  • Uses feedback from conversations to further improve onboarding.

So you are not only looking at how to activate a single user, but also at how we can guide future users through the funnel faster and more easily.

In this role, we work with clear KPIs. We look at, among other things, the number of activated customers, activation rate, conversion to first order, speed of follow-up, and the quality of follow-up.

Our culture

At Service Points, we work in an ambitious and results-oriented environment.

  • Ownership: you take responsibility for your work and results.
  • Working in a results-oriented manner: we work with clear goals and KPIs.
  • Direct communication: feedback is open, honest, and aimed at improvement.
  • Initiative: if you see a problem or opportunity, you take action.
  • Ambition: we want to continuously grow and improve.
  • Integrity: you say what you do and you do what you say.

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility independently, but also actively collaborates with colleagues to further grow SP Lite.

You are a strong communicator and get energy from personal contact with entrepreneurs. In addition:

  • Do you speak and write Dutch and English well?
  • Do you pick up the phone easily and feel comfortable in commercial conversations?
