We have an update regarding the new EU import duties. Since July, the €3 customs duty has been in effect (€2.60 for us), and from November, a €2 handling fee is expected to be added.

Over the past period, we have worked with our suppliers on a solution to minimize these extra costs for you as much as possible. We will fully automate this in our dashboard.

✅Maximum of 1x the levies per shipment

At Service Points, we ensure that you pay the €2.60 customs duty and the €2 handling fee a maximum of once, even for multiple different products. This applies as long as everything is sent within a single shipment. For multiple suppliers and separate shipments, this applies per shipment.

✅ Automatic discounts

When the levies have been incorporated into the product prices multiple times, the difference is automatically settled as a discount.

✅ Special shipping lines

For certain products, suppliers use more cost-effective shipping lines where the savings are already factored into the price. No additional automatic discounts are applied to these.

✅ Retroactive discounts

Previous orders are also checked. The existing procedure still applies here: discounts on double customs duties for products with the same HS code within a single shipment.

What does this mean for you?

You don't have to do anything yourself. As soon as the functionality is live, the discounts will be processed automatically.
